The Saxo is available in three- and five- door models with a variety of diesel and petrol engines. There's more to Citroen Saxo than meets the eye. At firstglance it's a sleek, assertive supermini, with 3 or 5 doors, 5 trim levels adn choice of sensational colours. But take a closer look and you'll see the toughness, durability and reliability that have established Saxo as the car with "inner strengths". Inside, you're faced with all the luxuries, comfort and safety features you associate with a larger car.
What Are They Like? OUR summary of the Saxo VTR
Though not as quick as it's more expensive brother the VTS, the Saxo VTR is definitely a car to look at. Sharing the same bodykit, chassis set-up, uprated suspension and stylish alloys as the VTS, you would be forgiven if you were to opt for the VTR at the bargain of over £2000 cheaper (here in the UK). Already, many companies have taken up an interest in this car designing bodykits (pictures here soon), suspension, exhausts and engine conversions which take the standard 90bhp to 130bhp+ (faster than the VTS). Also, many extras are available for the interior and the exterior to give your car that customised feel.
